To uninstall ActiveSearch:
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs. Click 411 Ferret Toolbar .
Click Remove. Follow the prompts.
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u %Dll_name%. Then click OK. Replace %Dll_name% with followings:
%programfilesdir%\411ferret\toolbar.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type regedit.
Then
click OK.
Navigate to and delete the registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BTB\IEToolbar
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\&411 Ferret Toolbar search

Exit the Registry Editor.
- Remove the directory in Explorer:
%programfilesdir%\411ferret
However, a few of registry entries
may be left
behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
