To uninstall ActivityKey:
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel or Start > Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, click Spyware.ActivityKey, click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Remove.
- Terminate the processes in TaskManager:
actik.exe
akeylogger.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
hidden.dll
chatlogs.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type regedit.
Then
click OK.
Navigate to the registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, delete the value "Activity" = "%ProgramFiles%\Activity Keylogger\actik.exe"
- Remove these files in Explorer:
%Windir%\aksettings.ini
%Windir%\chatlogs.dll
- Remove the diretory in Explorer:
%ProgramFiles%\Activity Keylogger\
However, a few of registry entries
may be left
behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
