To remove Alureon, please follow the instruction:

1. Terminate the processes in Task Manager:
   gnllh.exe
   nzbxn.exe
   playercodec1000.exe
   zcodec1000.exe
   kdepd.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\freevideo
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\freevideo
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\freevideo
   Registry management is too hard? Download Registry Mechanic, and you will find it too easy!
    
3. Remove the following directories in Explorer if exist:
   %ProgramFiles%\freevideo
   %ProgramFiles%\hqvideo
