bifrose is a trojan program that uses a backdoor server to send information to a remote server. It then uploads one or more files and runs them on the compromised system.
Some variants of the trojan are email spamming programs that propagate through the local network from an infected machine. They will consume system resources and infect any machine connected to the immediate network.

To remove bifrose, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the processes in Task Manager:
system.exe
msmssgs.exe
backdoor.bifrose.a.exe
ap2.exe
ap0.exe
~565.exe
msconf.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK.
Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run msmssgs.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run startkey
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wget
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wget
