Canary Removal:

To remove Canary, please follow the instruction:

1. Terminate the process in Task Manager:
   canary-std.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Run "Canary" = "canary-std.exe"
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\canary
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\crs-cls
   Registry management is too hard? Download Registry Mechanic , and you will find it too easy!
    
3. Remove the following files in Explorer:
   C:\WINDOWS\active_skin.ini
   C:\WINDOWS\canary-std.exe
   C:\WINDOWS\CRS.GIF
   C:\WINDOWS\languages.ini
   C:\WINDOWS\settings-std.exe
   C:\WINDOWS\SKINS.INI
   C:\WINDOWS\update1.dat
