Desktop Adviser Removal:
To remove Desktop Adviser, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the process in Task Manager:
deskadv.exe
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel or Start > Control Panel. In the Control Panel window, double-click Add/Remove Programs. Click Desktop Advisor. Click Add/Remove and follow the prompts.
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK.
Navigate to the subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
In the right pane, delete the value: "Desktop Adviser" = "%Program Files%\ALDESI Desktop Adviser\deskadv.exe autorun"

- Remove the following directory and its containing files in Explorer:
%Program Files%\ALDESI Desktop Adviser
