Egyrank is a hijacker that modifies the Internet Explorer home page and search page settings. It also monitors the visited websites and sends this information to the remote server.

To remove Egyrank, please follow the instruction:

1. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with following:

   Navigate to the subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOCALMACHINE_LOCKDOWN
   In the right pane, delete the value: "iexplore.exe" = "0"

3. Remove the directory and its containing files if it exists:
   %Program Files%\egyrank
    
4. Reset the Internet Explorer home page and search page.
