To remove MateWatcher, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the process in Task Manager:
cpanel.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\system32\ASYCFILT.dll
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\system32\COMCAT.dll
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\system32\MSVBVM60 .dll
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\system32\OLEAUT32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\system32\OLEPRO32.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK.
Navigate to and delete the subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Userfriendlyproducts, Inc.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Control Panel Software

- Remove the following directories and their containing files in Explorer:
C:\WORKSSETUP
C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\
