To uninstall QuickLaunch:
- Terminate the process in TaskManager:
Keystroke.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
%ProgramFiles%\Quick Launch\mousehook.dll
%ProgramFiles%\Quick Launch\jkui.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type regedit.
Then
click OK.
Navigate to and delete the subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Quick Launch Shortcut_is1
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Local AppWizard-Generated Applications\keystroke
Navigate to the subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, delete the value:
"keystroke" = "%ProgramFiles%\Quick Launch\keystroke.exe"
- Remove the directories in Explorer:
%ProgramFiles%\Quick Launch\
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Quick Launch\
However, a few of registry entries
may be left
behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
