SecondSight Description:

SecondSight is a spyware from iQuesoft. It can run in stealth mode, capture all keystrokes and can take screenshots of the system at regular intervals. Hence it collects information such as usernames, passwords, applications used, emails, chat sessions, instant messages and websites visited. All the information captured is stored by this software in log files and it has the ability to send these log files to a specified email address. Removal of this software is advisable if it is not installed for a purpose.

To remove SecondSight, please follow the instruction:

1. Terminate the process in Task Manager:
   mmemdrv.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
   KTKbdHk3.dll
   skinboxer43.dll
   %Windows Dir%\System VolumeID\RP46\wcp32.dll
   %Windows Dir%\System VolumeID\RP46\bnr32.dll
   %Windows Dir%\System VolumeID\RP46\sysnav04.dll
    
3. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to and delete the subkeys:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\KSDPanel.Panel
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\KbdMonitor.KeyMon
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{C4D77E92-252D-11D4-B358-C9A9F1AA7152}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{C4D77E93-252D-11D4-B358-C9A9F1AA7152}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{C4D77E94-252D-11D4-B358-C9A9F1AA7152}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{B60B1875-E5CA-11D2-BC3D-78A407C10000}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B60B1871-E5CA-11D2-BC3D-78A407C10000}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{B60B1874-E5CA-11D2-BC3D-78A407C10000}
   
   Navigate to the subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   In the right pane, delete the value: "mmemdrv" = "%system%\mmemdrv.exe /n"

4. Remove the following directories and their containing files in Explorer:
   %Windows Dir%\System VolumeID\RP15\
   %Windows Dir%\System VolumeID\RP46\
