Sentinel X Description:
Sentinel X is a spyware from MDSA Software. It can run in stealth mode and capture all keystrokes, applications used, emails, chat sessions, instant messages, websites visited and can take screenshots of the system at regular intervals. It has 'Web Site Blocker' and 'Chat Room Blocker', which can be used to block access to websites (specified by the person who installed) and chat sessions on AOL, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. All the information captured is stored by this monitoring software in log files and it has the ability to send these log files to a specified email address. Removal of this software is advisable if it is not installed for a purpose.

To remove Sentinel X, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the processes in Task Manager:
%Program Files%\MDSA Software\csrss.exe
%Program Files%\MDSA Software\smss.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
dijpg.dll
vbSendMail.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK.
Navigate to the subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
In the right pane, delete the value: "MDSA Sentinel X" = "%Program Files%\MDSA Software\smss.exe -run"

- Remove the following directory and its containing files in Explorer:
%Program Files%\MDSA Software
