Sokeven is a trojan program that creates a SOCKS proxy on the infected computer when a user visits a malicious Web site using the Internet Explorer browser.

To remove Sokeven, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the process in Task Manager:
w32.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "w32" = "%System%\w32.exe"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "w32" = "%System%\w32.exe"
