To uninstall SP2Update:
- Terminate the process sp2update.exe in Tasks Manager.
- Click Start > Run. Type regedit.
Then
click OK.
Navigate to registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
delete the value:
"sp2update" = "%Windir%\sp2update.exe"
- Remove the file in Explorer:
sp2update.exe
However, a few of registry entries
may be left
behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
