StaffCop Description:

StaffCop is a monitoring software from 'AtomPark Software JSC'. It consists of two components, one is called 'StaffCop Agent', and the other is called 'StaffCop Client'. StaffCop Client is used to control StaffCop Agents. StaffCop Agent runs in stealth mode and takes snapshots of the system at regular intervals. Hence it captures keystrokes, applications used, emails, chat sessions, instant messages and websites visited. All the information captured by StaffCop Agent is stored in log files and those logfiles can be viewed using StaffCop Client. Removal of this software is advisable if it is not installed for a purpose.

To remove StaffCop, please follow the instruction:

1. Terminate the process in Tasks Manager:
   StaffCop.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with followings:
   msvcr71.dll
   %Program Files%\StaffCop\msvcr71.dll
   %Program Files%\StaffCop\RWRes.dll
   %Program Files%\StaffCop\SCRes.dll
    
3. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to and delete the subkeys:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\StaffCop Agent_is1
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\StaffCop_is1
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\StaffCop
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\StaffCop
   
   Navigate to the subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
   in the right pane, delete the value:
   "Staffcop Scheduler" ="%Program Files%\StaffCop\scheduler.exe"
   Registry management is too hard? Download Registry Mechanic , and you will find it too easy!
    
4. Remove the following directories and their containing files in Explorer:
   %Program Files%\StaffCop
   %Program Files%\StaffCop Agent
