The PC Detective SE is a monitoring software from SCES Software. It can run in stealth mode and capture all keystrokes, applications used, emails, chat sessions, instant messages and websites visited. It has 'Application Blocker' and 'Website Blocker', which can be used to block access to applications and websites (specified by the person who installed). All the information captured is stored by this software in log files and it has the ability to send these log files to a specified email address. Removal of this software is advisable if it is not installed for a purpose.

1. Terminate the processes in Task Manager:
   ems.exe
   tpcl.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with following:
   pcdkbh.dll
    
3. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkey:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
   In the right pane, delete the value: "SVCHOSTS" = "%ProgramFiles%\SVCHOST.exe"
