Marketing software installed by products from "loyalty marketing partners", that pops up ads and coupons when you visit certain Web sites. Partners include eBates, Upromise, and 7 others. Reportedly hijacks commissions that result from sales referals.

TopMoxie Manual Removal:

1. Close all your browsers.
2. Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove the TopMoxie partner module (such as Schoolcash or Technology4Kids) followed by the TopMoxie entry. Please note you must first remove the partner?s module before TopMoxie or the uninstall will leave an entry in you Add/Remove Programs.
3. Delete the file folder c:/program files/topmoxie.
4. Empty your recycle bin.

Follow these steps to remove TopMoxie from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   top_moxie.exe
    
2. Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\websearch, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
     
3. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   systemroot+\system32\trk.dll
    
4. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:

5. Remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
