To uninstall WinAD:

1. Terminate the processes in TaskManager:
   winad.exe
   winadalt.exe
   winadctl.exe
   winadctlinstpack.exe
   
   
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with following:
   %SystemRoot%\winad2.dll
   winadshift.dll
   
   
3. Click Start > Run . Type regedit . Then click OK . Navigate to and delete the subkey:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{53d3c442-8fee-4784-9a21-6297d39613f0}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\clsid\{53d3c442-8fee-4784-9a21-6297d39613f0}

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\windows adcontrol
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\winpopup
   
   
4. Remove the files in Explorer:
   %DesktopDir%\cartooninstall.exe
   %DesktopDir%\free laptop.url
   %ProfileDir%\local settings\temp\2.39 mb.exe
   %ProfileDir%\local settings\temp\578 kb.exe
   %ProfileDir%\local settings\temp\gd255.exe
   %ProfileDir%\recent\cartooninstall.lnk
   %SystemRoot%\winad2.dll
   winad email.txt
   winad.exe
   winadalt.exe
   winadctl.exe
   winadctlinstpack.exe
   winad-install.txt
   winadshift.dll

However, a few of registry entries may be left behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
