To remove Winbrume, please follow the instruction:

1. Terminate the following processes in WinTasks:
   w.exe
   update.exe
    
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with following:
   winbrume.dll
    
3. Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to and delete the registry subkeys:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{196b9cb5-4c83-46f7-9b06-9672ecd9d99b}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\browser helper objects\{196b9cb5-4c83-46f7-9b06-9672ecd9d99b}
   Registry management is too hard? Download Registry Mechanic, and you will find it too easy!
    
4. Remove the following files in Explorer if exists:
   w.exe
   update.exe
   winbrume.dll
   winbrume.dat
