To uninstall Wintective:

1. Terminate the process in Explorer:
   wintective.exe
   
   
2. Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u <Dll_name>. Then click OK. Replace <Dll_name> with following:
   wintective.dll
   
   
3. Click Start > Run . Type regedit . Then click OK . Navigate to and delete the subkeys:

   Navigate to the subkey:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, delete the value: "wintective" = "C:\Program Files\wintective\wintective.exe"
   
   
4. Remove the directory in Explorer:
   %ProgramFiles%\wintective\

However, a few of registry entries may be left behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
