To uninstall Zotob:
- Terminate the processes in TaskManager:
botzor.exe haha.exe
- Navigate to %Windir%(Windows 95/98/Me) or %Windir%\System32\drivers\etc(Windows NT/2000/XP), open the hosts file
with Notepad, delete all the entries added by the worm, such as 127.0.0.1 www.mcafee.com, 127.0.0.1 www.symantec.com, 127.0.0.1 www.kaspersky.com...
- Click Start > Run . Type regedit . Then click OK . Navigate to the subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
delete the value: "WINDOWS SYSTEM" = "botzor.exe"
- Scan your computer using McAfee VirusScan to clean up:
