AdRoar Description:
AdRoar is an Internet
Explorer browser helper object that displays
pop-up windows. There are some indications that
this adware can show the following message: "This
module was compiled with a trial version of
Delphi. The trial period has expired.". Some
versions of AdRoar also have an update process
that runs at reboot.
AdRoar seems to download the ads from
iads.adroar.com.

Follow these steps to remove
AdRoar from your machine. Begin by backing up
your registry and your system, and/or setting a
Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a
mistake.
- Kill these running processes with Task
Manager:
systemroot+\arupdate.exe
systemroot+\cpr.exe
iep.exe
- Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
- Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:

systemroot+\system32\cpr.dll
systemroot+\system\adroar.dll
systemroot+\system\cpr.dll
- Remove these registry items (if present)
with RegEdit:
