Follow these steps to remove BuddyLinks from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   mtwi.exe
   programfilesdir+\buddylinks.net\blpref.exe
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blengine.exe
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\channelup.exe
    
2. Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
   \blmessagingintegration, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\psd tools channel, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
    
3. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blaim.dll
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\bldll.dll
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blengine.dll
    
4. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
   \blmessagingintegration
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\psd tools channel
    
5. Remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   mtwi.exe
   programfilesdir+\buddylinks.net\blpref.exe
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blaim.dll
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\bldll.dll
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blengine.dll
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\blengine.exe
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools\channelup.exe
    
6. Remove these directories (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   programfilesdir+\buddylinks.net
   programfilesdir+\common files\psd tools
