FreeScratchAndWin is an IE spyware Browser Helper Object dressed up as a web 'scratchcards' game. (What exactly is available to be won, and whether anybody has ever won it, remains unclear.)

It also hijacks your home- and search-page settings to point to xzoomy.com, and complains if you try to change them back.

Also known as: Free-Scratch-Cards, Swizzor.j, FSW, FSC, CPM Media, after the company name used to sign the software.

Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove FreeScratchAndWin manually. Please notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted.

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   xtzdjknl.exe
   xujykafs.exe
   xustmryz.exe
    
2. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   xcxrseiq.dll
    
3. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:

   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\fswinst.application
    
4. Remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   xcxrseiq.dll
   xtzdjknl.exe
   xtzdjknl.exe-02245d13.pf
   xujykafs.exe
   xujykafs.exe-16eea6a1.pf
   xustmryz.exe
   xustmryz.exe-2e3821a3.pf
    
5. Remove this directory (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   programfilesdir+\fsw
