KeyLoggerPro is a commercial product that
detects keystrokes and activity on your computer.
It is advertised as a parental control tool.
File names: KeyloggerPro.exe
When KeyLoggerPro
runs, it performs the
following actions:
- Offers the option to install with or without
an uninstall feature.
- Offers the option to run at Windows startup.
- Offers the option to change the default
install directory. The default install
directory is %ProgramFiles%.
- Copies itself to the install directory as KeyloggerPro.exe.
- Offers the option to run in stealth mode.
- Creates the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ExploreAnywhere
Software
- Creates a log file in the root folder named
Kpconfig.dat.
- If the Start with Windows option is
selected, it creates the following registry
value:
"1win32cfg" = "file from
which product was launched"
in the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
which ensures that the software runs when you
start Windows.

Please follow the instructions below if you
would like to remove KeyloggerPro manually.
Please notice that you must follow the
instructions very carefully and delete everything
that is mentioned. In most cases the removal will
fail if one single item is not deleted.
- Start the registry editor. This is done by
clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will
appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The
registry editor will open.)
- Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \
Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run'
- In the right pane, delete the value '1Win32Cfg', if it exists.
- Exit the registry editor.
- Restart your computer.
- Delete the following directory and its
content:
'%ProgramsDir%\Spytech Software\Spytech
SpyAgent'
Note: %ProgramsDir% is a variable. By
default, this is C:\Program Files.
