How to Detect and Remove Search Assistant?

Search Assistant Description:

The "Search Assistant" bar is a malware, and it seems to reset the Taskbar settings.

Search Assistant Manual Removal:

Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
systemroot+\system32\omniband.dll
systemroot+\system\omniband.dll
Rename systemroot+\system32\omniband.dll and systemroot+\system\omniband.dll to old_omniband.dll and restart Windows.
Remove the files in Explorer:
%SystemRoot%\wsaupdater.exe
Remove the directory in Explorer:
%ProgramFiles%\windowssa

If the bar is not removed, download the spyware removers such as Spyware Doctor or BPS Adware & Spyware Remover and run them.
