Spytech Description:

Spytech monitors files, network traffic, and keystrokes. This Spytech gives the person who installed it a Web-based interface with summaries of logged information on the host computer.

When Spytech is executed, it does the following:

1. Copies itself as C:\Program Files\svchost.exe.
   
   
2. Adds the value:
   
   "Srv32Win" = "C:\Program Files\svchost.exe"
   
   to the registry key:
   
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   
   
3. Monitors the following items:
   
   • Keystrokes typed
   • Website visits
   • Applications run
   • Internet connections made
   • Files and documents viewed
   • Chat conversations
   • Windows opened
   • Outgoing email and webmail
     
     
4. Downloads updates from www.spytech-web.com.
