Targetsoft.Inetadpt Description:

TargetSoft.inetadpt is a Layered Socket Provider (LSP), developed by Virtumundo, Inc. (inetadpt.dll contains 'This file is the property of Virtumundo, Inc.'). A LSP can intercept most of the internet traffic going to and from your computer. LSPs are powerful but if they are buggy, installed or removed incorrectly they will break your internet connection.

TargetSoft.inetadpt is bundled with FreeWire 3.2.3, but not mentioned in the EULA. After the installation the internet connection was lost on my lab computer. After investigating the problem it turned out that TargetSoft.inetadpt was the one breaking my internet connection. The broken connection was fixed with a tool called LSPFix.

From the Vendor: Virtumundo, Inc desktop software (including NewtonKnows) and related services may routinely collect the following information about individuals: (1) error logs, (2) keywords used by the individuals in web searches, and (3) information about the sites the individuals visit. Error log information will be used by Company to improve the performance of the desktop software. Other information regarding individuals may be used for any purpose permitted by law, including to target relevant advertising to individuals.
