Follow these steps to remove TOPicks from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   programfilesdir+\altnet\download manager\adm.exe
   programfilesdir+\altnet\download manager\altnetuninstall.exe
   programfilesdir+\altnet\download manager\asm.exe
   programfilesdir+\altnet\download manager\asmend.exe
   programfilesdir+\altnet\points manager\points manager.exe
   programfilesdir+\topicks\bin\hthost.exe
   programfilesdir+\topicks\bin\idhost.exe
   programfilesdir+\topicks\bin\idmun.exe
   programfilesdir+\topicks\icons.exe
    
2. Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
   \altnetpointsmanager, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\topicks starter, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
