Follow these steps to remove WebSearch Toolbar
from
your machine. Begin by backing up your
registry and your system, and/or setting a
Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a
mistake.
- Kill these running
processes with Task Manager:
%ProgramFiles%\websearch\websearch1.exe
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panel or Start > Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, click Search Toolbar, TS Toolbar, and WebSearch Toolbar, if present. Click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Remove.
- Go to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, remove the values: delete the values:
"TBPS" = "",
"WinTools" = "",
"OETool" = "",
"TB_setup"= "".
- Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
%SystemRoot%\spotonbh.dll
%SystemRoot%\toolbar.dll
- Remove these registry items (if present)
with RegEdit:

- After following the instructions above, you
