Win-Spy Manual Removal:

Permits the folder containing keystrokes to be hidden. Shown in Task Manager as winsys.exe. Eval version displays an icon in the systray. Will not show up in Add/Remove programs. Run c:\winnt\unin.exe to disable. But this uninstaller will not remove smt.exe, unin.exe, winsys.exe, or any of the dll's it installs.
Detection might be simple if your mouse dies, as ours did.
If you cannot find the program location, you can do a find by clicking "Start", then click "Find", then enter winsys.exe to find the file on your machine (if it is not located at c:\winnt\winsys.exe).

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   systemroot+\winsys.exe

   ex.exe
   smt.exe
   syst.exe

2. Remove AutoRun Reference: Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   
3. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\winsys
   
4. Remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
