SaveNow is an adware that displays ads. Its a product made by a company called WhenU. It tracks your visiting habbits and then pops up separate browser windows with targeted advertisements and special offers. It will be installed has been made clear in the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

Using Spyware Doctor to detect and remove SaveNow AUTOMATICALLY!

SaveNow Manual Removal:

1. Click Start >Settings > Control Panel, Double click on Add/Remove Programs, Choose Add/Remove Programs, Select SaveNow from the list of programs, Click on Add/Remove > OK.
   
2. Navigate to and delete the subkeys:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WhenUSave HKCR\WUSN.1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SaveNow HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Xtractor Plus_is1 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\Free Software
   
   Navigate to the subkeys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   
   delete the values: "VVSN" = "%ProgramFiles%\VVSN\VVSN.exe", "SaveNow" = "%ProgramFiles%\SaveNow\SaveNow.exe"

However, a few of registry entries may be left behind deleting. You can ask for Spyware Doctor to clean up.
