Run the uninstaller provided, via Add/Remove programs. This will leave a few items behind, however, including the \program files\DAP directory and possibly:

• HKLM\software\classes\clsid\{82351441-9094-11d1-a24b-00a0c932c7df}
• HKLM\software\speedbit

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   programfilesdir+\dap\dap.exe
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapupd.exe
   programfilesdir+\dap\ezupdate.exe
   programfilesdir+\dap\restartapp.exe
   programfilesdir+\download coach\downloadcoach.exe
   
2. Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
   \downloadaccelerator, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
   If you find the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\webscan, delete it and reboot the machine immediately.
   
3. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   programfilesdir+\dap\cabex.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapbho.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapie.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapiebar.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapm_amdc.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapns.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapop.dll 
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapres.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\dapres32.dll
   programfilesdir+\dap\redregistration.dll
   
4. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dapiebar.cbareventer
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dapiebar.cbareventer.1
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dapiebar.dapiebarband
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dapiebar.dapiebarband.1
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\internet explorer\menuext\&download with &dap
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\daffile
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\daie.downloadacceleratorie
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\daie.downloadacceleratorie.1
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\daie.downloadacceleratorie\clsid
