Follow these steps to remove Xrenoder from your machine. Begin by backing up your registry and your system, and/or setting a Restore Point, to prevent trouble if you make a mistake.

1. Kill these running processes with Task Manager:
   adult_chat.exe
   trojandownloader.win32.istbar.b.exe
   trojandownloader.win32.istbar.c.exe
    
2. Unregister these DLLs with Regsvr32, then reboot:
   egdhtml_1017.dll
   systemroot+\downloaded program files\conflict.1\istactivex.dll
    
3. Remove these registry items (if present) with RegEdit:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\moduleusage
   \c:/winnt/downloaded program files/istactivex.dll
    
4. Remove these files (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   adult_chat.exe
   adult_chat.lnk
   cashgold.lnk
   display.php
   egdhtml_1017.dll
   favorites+\adult sites\
   favorites+\free adult content\daily movies\
   jsobject.php
   mainframe.php
   module.php
   pcconfig.dat
   systemroot+\downloaded program files\conflict.1\istactivex.dll
   trojandownloader.win32.istbar.b.exe
   trojandownloader.win32.istbar.c.exe
    
5. Remove these directories (if present) with Windows Explorer:
   favorites+\adult sites
   favorites+\free adult content
   favorites+\free adult content\daily movies\
    
6. After following the instructions above, you will still need to restore your original settings and prevent this from happening again. Here's how.
