PerfectDefender Description

PerfectDefender is a rogue security program that uses scare tactics by showing fake warning popups, fake security warnings, fake scan results to trick user. It displays an excessive amount of pop-up ads that pushes users to download and purchase the program.

PerfectDefender is not worth a dime since it is totally useless. All the threats reported by this tool are made up. They warn people about many infections and prompt downloading/buying Perfect Defender 2009. If downloaded Perfect Defender 2009 keeps loading pop-ups and urging to pay for using the program.

To remove PerfectDefender, please follow the instructions:

Block the related websites in the Browser:
defender-review.com
personaldefender2009.com
defender2009.com
Terminate the processes in Task Manager:
pdfndr.exe
pdmonitor.exe
Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u %Dll_name%. Then click OK. Replace %Dll_name% with following:
pd.dll
Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PDefender
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Perfect Defender 2009"
Registry management is too hard? Download Registry Mechanic, and you will find it too easy!
Remove the following directories and files in Explorer if exist:
%Program Files%\Perfect Defender 2009\
%User Profile%\Application Data\Perfect Defender 2009\
