AntiSpyGuard is a fake anti-spyware program designed to lure you into purchasing its rogue full version. AntiSpyGuard is designed to issue fake security warnings to make you believe that your computer is infected with spyware. These messages may look similar to the ones issued from Windows Security center. Although AntiSpyGuard may seem a legitimate program, it only seeks to swindle you out your money and is a rogue program.

To remove AntiSpyGuard, please follow the instruction:
- Terminate the processes in Task Manager:

asgengine.exe
- Click Start > Run. Type REGSVR32 -u %Dll_name%. Then click OK. Replace %Dll_name% with followings:

pthreadVC2.dll
- Click Start > Run. Type REGEDIT. Then click OK. Navigate to the subkeys and delete the values:

- Remove the files mentioned above and following directories in Explorer if exist:
%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\AntiSpyGuard 2007\
%ProgramFiles%\AntiSpyGuard 2007\
